Policy
Acceptable use policy
Short, because there is not much to restrict. This is a tool that reads a laundry label.

01Scope
This policy forms part of the terms of service and applies to everyone using Dyerun, on any plan, including the free plan.
02What you may upload
Photographs of garments and their composition labels, and a short sentence describing what you intended to wash the item with. That is all the service needs and all it can use.
You must not upload:
- photographs of identifiable people, or of anything else that contains someone’s personal data;
- images you do not have the right to upload, including copyrighted product photography taken from a retailer’s site;
- anything unlawful, or any image depicting the abuse or exploitation of a person;
- content unrelated to a garment, submitted to see what the service will do with it;
- files containing malicious code.
If a photograph accidentally includes a person, tell us and we will delete it. Better, take the photograph again — the reading needs the label and the cloth, nothing else.
03How the output must not be used
You must not use a reading as evidence in a claim, return, chargeback or complaint against a retailer, manufacturer, brand or anyone else. The output is an estimate from a photograph and cannot establish anything about a specific garment.
You must also not:
- present a reading as a colourfastness test, or tell anyone that testing has been carried out;
- tell a third party that dye transfer has been ruled out for an item;
- use a reading in any medical, legal, financial, safety, employment, credit, housing or judicial decision;
- resell readings, or present the service’s output as a product of your own;
- use the service to build a competing dataset, model or risk table.
You may print, save and share the cards produced for your own garments, including with a household member or with whoever does your laundry. That is what they are for.
04Technical restrictions
- Do not scrape the site, or automate access to it beyond ordinary use of a browser.
- Do not attempt to circumvent allowance limits, plan boundaries or the watermark, or to share one account between people who are not a single household.
- Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service. If you have found a vulnerability, see section 6 — we would rather hear from you.
- Do not interfere with the service’s availability for other people.
05How we enforce this
If we believe this policy has been breached we may remove the content, restrict a feature, suspend the account or close it. We choose the least drastic step that resolves the problem.
We will tell you what happened and why, unless we are legally prevented from doing so, and you can reply to that message and reach a person. If we close a paid account for a breach that turns out not to have happened, we reinstate it and refund anything you paid for and did not receive.
06Reporting misuse
If you believe someone is misusing this service, or you have found a security vulnerability, write to support@artgalleryclothing.shop. We will acknowledge within one working day.
We will not pursue anyone who reports a vulnerability to us in good faith, who gives us reasonable time to fix it, and who does not access or alter other people’s data in the process.
